About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the "power of life wavers" , and that it is the "underlying powers of revival" that are causing the rift between the two of them. In fact, the rift is the result of the "curse of contra diction" . In other words, the curse of love is not love at all, but rather a curse of contradiction toward the master of the first fairy tail. This is the reason why the master is able to use his magic to create the tail, and why he has been able to do so since he met the master. The master tells us that he is the only person in the world who feels as lonely as he does. He says that if he loves the master, he will kill him. He also says that he wants to be with the master forever, because the more love they feel, the greater the number of lives they take. He adds that he hates the master because he destroyed the master's guild, and because he has no love for him at all. He is the enemy of his guild, he says, and he wants the master to die. He wants to talk to him about love, and to make up with him, too, but he says that the master has to live. He has a strange dream, in which he sees a girl and boy in black.
