This scene opens with a soliloquy by the "wizard of the heart" . He tells the rest of the guild that he has created a "historia" for them all. He compares them to his own creations, which have "personality and memory." He tells them that he can use his magic to bring back those who have been killed by their enemies. This is a very different kind of magic than necromancy, he says, because "dead people are" instead of being manipulated by the living. He says that he will give this "one much enjoy" to the others.
