The chapter opens with a soliloquy by the elfman, who tells everyone that he has to let everyone know that he's alone. He's already a member of the fairy tail, and he wants everyone to know that they can't just go out on a date with their boy friend. The elfman says that he thinks both Jet and Dr. Roy tried very hard to get back to the city on time, but they couldn't because of the rain. He also says that the anniversary of the death of a girl named Anna is coming up, and she died in a job accident two years ago. He tells everyone to think of her as they eat a frank, and then he tells them that they're as close to each other as always. He says that they should treat the present as precious, and not worry about the future. He then tells them about the town and guild that all vanished, and that they are the only ones left. They're the ones who got sucked into the "anima" , which is the portal to the other side of the world. The whole town went "happy" and while he was on it, the town vanished.
