The monster realizes that the group of kids just took out all the stuff they've been working on. They're going to have to figure out a way to get rid of them, pronto. The plan is to split up the kids and use them as spies to find out what's going on with the old man. The idea is that they'll be able to tell the old guy what they're up to, and then they can figure out what he's up to. The old guy is a little freaked out by this idea, but maybe he'll tell them what they need to know. The monster is bummed that the kids just got into a fight. He's not going to let them get away with it. He wants to get to the guy who owns the island. He tells the guys that he'd like to introduce himself as a member of a brandish division of the imperial army. The guy is all, "I'm from the island of Illyria, and I'm a part of the brandish imperial army." The monster doesn't believe him, and tells the guy to go away. He says that the area of the island belongs to him and that he can't let anyone use magic in his area. He also says that he invited the kids to his place, but they both failed. The kid who controls the island is going to be a pain, the monster says.
