In this chapter, the "freezing warrior" boas the menu. He tells us that he's been doing this for the guild. He's worried about all the wounded warriors, and he wants to get some rest. He says that they've split up into two groups, one to attack the enemy and one to defend the island. The first group is led by Gray, and the second group is commanded by Heart. Gray says that he infiltrated Heart in order to get revenge on his father, who was killed by hades. He explains that he knows that only one magic can defeat hades, and that's the magic of "ice-cold shell" . He wants to take zeref away from the island so that no one can find him. He doesn't want anyone to ever find him, so he'll seal him up in the woods and make sure no one ever sees him again. He also says that if they use the magic, they'll kill both hades and Gray at once. Gray is shocked that he didn't tell him about the plan to kill his father first. He thinks that he should have known better, but he'd never wanted to fight against his father. He promises to teach his daughter the lesson she never got from her mother.
