In the midst of the cat fight, Natsu tells Cal and Millia that they're going to be surprised by what they've just seen. Cal is excited because he thinks they'll be able to trust the guy. Millia is also excited because she thinks they can trust him, too. Natsu says he's not going to give them any excuses, though, because he doesn't want them to believe that the guy tried to kill them. He's just trying to get a little revenge on the guy who killed him. Cal thinks that's a good idea, too, since he thinks the guy would have killed them if he hadn't attacked them. But Natsu isn't about to give him any excuses. He tells Cal that he'll give them all the reasons they need to believe in him, but he won't give any excuses about the guy's intentions. Cal says that he thinks it's good that the dude didn't kill them, because otherwise, they wouldn't have had a chance to fight jellal. He also says that if the guy had killed them, he would have been able to wipe his mouth, which would have made him feel better about killing them. Cal agrees that he believes in Natsu's dragon power, which is why he killed the guy in the first place. But Cal says he can't let the guy bully a cat, because the guy is a creep, and he'd rather pay for what he did than let him bully a human. Cal asks why the guy was trying to kill a human, and Natsu explains that he wasn't supposed to be a cat. He says that the cat is in a cat c-tube, and that the man is trying to pass it off as a human trying to
