In this chapter, we meet Hiroyuki and his wife, who are on their way to the train station in order to catch the next train. As they are about to board the train, they are interrupted by the sound of a bugle call. The bugle is from the dark side of the forest, and Hiroyuki tells his wife that he would trade his wife for the train. He tells her that he has seen the bugle before, and that it must be from the "dark guild" that is in the area. He also tells her about the battle that is about to take place at the station, and how he is feeling sick. He asks his wife what is wrong, and she tells him that something has been said to her, but that she can't remember what it was. She tells him to stop feeling sick, and he tells her to do so. He says that the station is closed for maintenance work, and the passengers are not allowed into the station until they can be assured that there is no danger. He then tells her what he has heard about the "eisenwald terrorists" and how they have been wiped out. He adds that they were fighting against an entire guild, and a platoon couldn't take them on. The chick is in armor, he says, and what happens to him next depends on his answer.
