In the heat of the battle, the three of them decide that they must kill Lady Dedlock immediately. As they do so, they are interrupted by the sound of the water in the distance. The water is the source of the three's power, and they must open the gate of the "Celestial King" in order to destroy him. They must not break the key to the gate, because otherwise the water will not allow them to open it. The three agree that they will not see each other for a long time, because they are now in the "range of curses" .
