The jade dragon, zirconis, is wandering through the forest when he encounters Wendy, the wandering spirit of the sky dragon, Grandeeney. He is surprised to learn that she has called him back to find out that he has no words for human beings. The dragon explains that he and the other dragons were the ruling ones of the world, but a foolish dragon objected to the rules of dragonkind. The faction that wanted to end the war with humans struck a foolish strategy: they killed a mate of the other dragon and had him join the battle, but that strategy didn't work. The other dragons who wanted to join the war soon killed too much power, and the humans who wanted peace soon joined the war as well. Eventually, the man who killed the mate turned into a true dragon, and all the dragons in the forest were killed by that man. The man's spirit has completely disappeared from the forest, and he has been captured by the white knight, Acnologia.
