When the storm stops, the elfman and his men find themselves in the middle of a fierce battle. The elfman sees that the enemy is using a combination of strength and speed to defeat them. He decides to kill the creator of the shiki jutsu, which he uses to predict the weaknesses of the enemy. He also hears that Erza and Bisca have taken one of the twelve airships. He realizes that they are leaving the enemy in the hands of two of his men.
