In this chapter, we learn that the master of the twin-ichthyoid palace is planning to place the keys to that palace and the other one to the scale palace in Miss Liliane's possession. He also tells her that he hopes that she will take his place on the team when the games are over. He says that if she takes his place, she will be able to bring happiness to the spirits of the other five members of the saber tooth. He adds that if they add his two keys to the gate of the universe, then they will be the only remaining celestial wizards. He tells Liliane that he was once all twelve of them, but now that he is no longer a member of the group, he does not want to be a part of it anymore. Liliane tells him that she is sorry that he came to apologize, but that he can't apologize just because he comes from the saber-tooth. She says that she was humiliated in front of the crowd, and that she cannot apologize for being humiliated. She tells him to see how she feels about love and what is important to her.
