In this chapter, we learn the story of how Macao became a master of the fairy tail. Macao has been a member of the guild for seven years, but he was only acting master for a year after the island's disappearance. When he returned from the island, he was made the fourth master. He tells us that the time he spent at the tail was one of the happiest times of his life. He compares himself to a child who has read a story like this. He says that he never thought he would have the same experience as his father, who was a fire wizard. He asks if he looks like he's working at the same level as his dad. He's going to see his father to tell him how happy he is. The fourth master says he'd like to take care of his daughter, who is a little confused by the whole thing. He goes on to say that he has come to worry about how long it will be before he'll be able to pay off his debts. He also says that the guild is near financial ruin because they don't have enough money to keep up with the rent.
