The first master asks what's wrong, and the second master says that he's sure the emperor will wake up soon. The smell of liquor is everywhere, and he wonders if the two blips in the east have stopped their attack. The second master asks if he can have a drink with the first master in the last moment of his life. The man says he came early to get a drink, and that he doesn't drink for the wince-emma, but because he respects the elder, he wants to share it with him. He tells the man that he is an assassin, which is a fancy way of saying that he makes people vanish. He says that the emperor couldn't have killed Macao, so there's still one more ghost. He asks if the ghost knows where his body is, and Macao says he'll tell him where his friends are. Macao's friends are on the door of death, but they're not dead yet. They're still alive, and if they don't come back, they'll all be dead. The whole world is in his hands now, he says, because the emperor has swept them all away. He wants to use his magic on the entire guild, but he can't, because he has to stop the fire dragon from attacking them. He's going to have to use this magic again, so he asks the ghost to watch out for her.
