In this chapter, the ghost of Deliora appears. Deliora is an ice demon who has been honored by the underworld king as one of the nine "demon gates" . He tells Deliora that he will kill him and everyone who ever loved him after that. The ice demon says that he has nothing to do with Deliora's wrath. He says that the ice he used to make cannon fodder for the sun is the same ice that he uses to make his own fire. He asks Deliora if he is an idiot for thinking that he can use the same magic to kill him. Deliara says that it is still ice, but that it will not hurt him.
