The chapter opens with a conversation between giri and Warren. Warren tells giri that the battle is going on in the north and that the wizard saints have been holding out in the east. giri asks Warren if he can give him an update on the situation in the south. He tells Warren that he has one of the twelve captives and that there are eight of them remaining. He says that they have no strategy for the attack on the south and that they need some time to defeat the enemy. . The heraldry knights from the north enter the scene and tell giri to hide his face. They tell him that they are the four knights of the north division and that he will not be able to get past them. They say that they will push past him and that giri will be wounded. He asks if he could stop time and stop the battle. He explains that he is the only one who has the power to stop time. He wants to kill zeref now, but he can't because he is in the middle of the battle and he wants to get revenge on him for kicking him in the face. He wonders if he should rip up the clothes of the other two knights and start all over again. He hears a voice in his head and realizes that he too has been warped by time.
