The young man thanks the Council for saving him from being judged innocent. He says that he will be retiring from the Council after the rebuilding of the guild. The Council member asks the young man if he has lost his keys to his castle. He replies that he has not, and that the spirits of the witches have not upset him. He adds that he told the girl not to drop his key again. The girl says that she has lost her red butt. She says that all the people who have come after her for not participating in the fight have done so because she refused to take part in it. She adds that if she had been there, she would not have been so creeped out. She tells the story of how she lost her keys to her castle and how the witches were able to come back and mouth off to her. She asks if it is the witches who are the cause of all the trouble, and the girl replies that it is not the chickie that is the root cause, but the weaklings.
