In this short scene, we meet the first master of the fairy tail, Mavis. He tells us that the enemy is already at the castle and that he has a plan to destroy the guild. He asks the other members of the council to help him, but they refuse, saying that they have come to crush the guild so they can get promoted. Mavis, however, refuses to let the enemy get away with such a cowardly act.
