About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the two of them are enemies, and that they will have to fight each other in order to defeat each other. In order to do so, they have to destroy the other's tumor, which is the same tumor that randi shrank when she first saw him. The two are so angry at each other that they refuse to fight. They argue about whether or not they can be friends, and they argue about the fact that they were raised by different countries, with conflicting hopes and dreams. They are not enemies, they say, because they are not raised in the same country, and their mothers may have expected them to be, but they are in a difficult situation, and it is not worth the trouble. He tells her that he is going to kill her right now, so that he will not be swayed by his emotions, and he says that if he wins, he will promise to heal her if he does so. He says that he does not want to fight her, because she is stronger than him, but he will find a way to beat her. He claims that he has to do this, because he is not going to let his emotions get in the way of his actions.
