In the middle of the fight, the elfman asks the hound dog if they've decided on the fight's outcome. The dog replies that they haven't. The elfman says that he's going to fight the lizard man anyway, because the fight is going to be "a dream night" . He's also going to beat the heck out of the guy who drank his last glass of wine. The lizard man says he'll let the fight go on, because it's not like he can hit the guy with his bare hands. The two fight it out, and the lizardman breaks a few of the scales on his opponent's fists. The other lizard man is psyched, because he thinks that this is the "most rash tactic I've ever seen of ! . ." The dogman says he feels "my spirit trembling" , and that the fight will be "less a battle of fists" and "more two wills beating up each other." The two lizard men cheer each other up, and then the dogman tells us that they were just hiredlings. He says that the guy from the raven tail told them to bring the girl from the infirmary, and they carried her in. The plan didn't work out, so they sent her and the girl to the dungeons.
