The narrator introduces us to a new character named "Levey Mcgarden Magic" . She's a member of a fairy tail team, and she's super smart. She can translate ancient texts into English. She also uses magic to throw words into the target of her magic. For example, if she takes the word "fire" and throws it at her enemy, she'll burn him as if he had thrown a "ball of fire." She and her friend, Lucy, have become fast friends since they both read the same book. Lucy shows her Levey's novel, and the narrator says that she likes it even more because it's "unexpectedly interesting." Lucy is annoyed that the time has finally come to an end. She thinks that the moon-drip ceremony is still going on, but she can't stand around to watch it. She wants to kill the salamander, but he's not going to let her kill him. He says that the minute the salamander is revived, Lysander will kill it. He also says that he can stop time, but that's just a waste of his time. He doesn't understand why they're wasting their time on this. He's only joined the group a few days ago, and he thinks that he has met his match. He thinks that Lysander has no chance against the salamander. He knows that he'll have to kill it himself if he wants to save it. But he also knows that the power of his fairy tail will kill him if he does. He wants to get off of this island ASAP.
