In this short scene, Cletus and the others discuss the defeat they suffered at the hands of jellal. Cletus asks if he has lost his ability to use his reflector magic, which allows him to bend and mutilate things. He says that his magic does not affect him, and that he is still alive. He tells Cletus that they are not completely defeated, as they have not yet reached the "cait shelter" that is their first goal. In the ancient past, a clan created "nirvit" to end wars, but they were unable to do so because the members of the clan were forbidden to join. This is why they were forced to destroy the clan.
