The two men return to the guild, where they discuss the situation with their grandfather. They have made it back to the city, but there are still enemies left. The men decide to go to one of the city's many fortified positions and scout for enemy soldiers. As they prepare to leave, they are interrupted by the sound of gunfire. They realize that the battle is still going on, and they decide to head for the cathedral.
