Sherria is a young girl who has a special talent for magic. She has skipped school to study magic at an early age. She likes her cousin, the frien, whom she calls "wendy." The frien tells her that he is still alive, 400 years after the eclipse. She tells him that she is the soul of the atlas flame, which has manifested itself in her milky form. She explains that it takes a strong will for a person's soul to persist even after death, but she says that it is a very weak form of magic. The ice monster explains that he froze the entire village to eliminate her. She begs the ice monster to save the village. She says that when her village is unhappy, it pains her to combine her soul with the fire of the child. She declares that she will set the village free. He says that he will be the guardian of the village and that the dragon king has disappeared. He tells the ice vampire that he has been summoned to a meeting of the nine gates of the demon world.
