In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in the previous chapters. The first of these characters is Nemo, who is trying to figure out how to get out of the boat. He has a knife in his pocket, and he tries to use it to cut his way out, but the knife is stuck inside the boat's card. Nemo tries to cut the knife free, but it's stuck in the card. He realizes that something is inside the card, so he's going to have to cut it out himself. He's not sure if he stabbed Nemo, or if he was stabbed by someone else, but he knows that Nemo is inside. Nemo realizes that he can't get away from the boat, because the enemy doesn't know where he is. He also realizes that the boat is bound for the Tower of Heaven, and that he is a traitor. He asks his sister if he can re-enter his armor, but she won't help him. She tells him to hurry up, because if they don't, the enemy will find them.
