The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous week's battle between phantom and the knights. After the battle, the knights were able to calm down a bit, but then something terrible happened. The council decided that the fairy tail would be returned to its natural state of being, and it was decided that it would be placed in the care of the council. Fairy tail's fate would be decided by the council at a later date, and the chapter ends with a description of the new clothes that the knights are wearing. They are all dressed in their work clothes, and they are very enthusiastic about their new work. They look at the lumber that has been placed in their new building, and wonder where it has come from. When they find out that it is all letters to their mother, they decide to go find her.
