It's been a long time since we've seen irene, and now she's back. She's got a message for the king: she'd like to speak to him alone. He can't believe how long it's taken for her to get back to her senses, and he's worried that she'll forget him. He's also worried that he'll never be able to see her again, and that she won't remember him again. He tells the king that he can see her right through him, and wonders if she remembers him at all. She says that she does remember him, but she doesn't know who he is. He says that he died over a century ago, so he'd better not get all misty-eyed. He thanks the king for being kind, and thanks the whole gang for coming to see him. The king says that they'll all return to the fairy-tail guild.
