In the library, the first master tells the other members that he has the key to the saber tooth: "rufus." The first master says that this man knows all of the secrets of the "fairy tail" , and that taking him down will put the other guys at a disadvantage. The fairy tail , however, wants to help save his friend, and he begs the master to let him take down the man who knows all about the magic of the fairy tail. The master refuses, saying that he doesn't want to help "save lucy," and he's already decided that he wants to settle the score with the guy who knows everything about the "saber tooth." The master agrees, and the two begin to argue about the meaning of "memory." First, the master points out that "memory becomes a weapon," and that "freezing black thunder sword" can be used to make "whatever magic he wants." Second, he points to the fact that rufus can make as many new magics with the same magic as he can with the "old magic" . Finally, he asks the master if he has a plan to defeat him, since he only uses ice magic. The man replies that he does have a plan, but that he'll have to use "fire magic" to defeat ice.
