In this chapter, we learn that the former chairman of the Magic Council, Rawford, has been kidnapped and is being held in a dungeon by a woman who is a member of the Brotherhood. The Brotherhood's leader, Lisanna, has come to Rawford's house to warn him of the danger. Lisanna and the other Brotherhood members have arrived at the house, and Lisanna tells Rawford that they must first destroy the "face," a weapon that the Brotherhood has disavowed. She tells him to get to a safer room, where they will be able to use the "fairy tail"'s power to destroy the face. The two of them rush out to the house to find Rawford alone.
