He wonders if if he were suddenly absent at the games tomorrow, they might find out where he went. He says he never thought it'd come to this. He tells Luffy that he and his sister were caught up in the royal power play. One day, members of the cult of zelf murdered his parents and took his sister away. Luffy says that if they used eclipse, they could defeat the kingdom. He asks Luffy if he's saying that his sister wouldn't be taken away if she were still alive. Luffy replies that he would never have thought it would happen to him. He adds that he once had a younger sister, but one day, the cult members murdered her parents and hauled her away. The only way he could escape was to escape with his life. Luffy asks if he would have been able to escape if they had used eclipse to defeat zelef. Luffy responds that he'd never thought this would happen. He reminds Luffy that the grand magic game is about to begin. It's about time, he says, that the competing teams enter the arena.
