The chapter opens with a description of a young mermaid named kagura . She is 23 years old and has a brother named jellal who was taken away by child pickpockets when she was a young girl. She has been studying to find her brother ever since. When she met Mina, she learned of his death and dedicated her sword to revenge against him. But after meeting Erza in the magic games, she has begun to doubt her determination and her hatred of her brother. The mermaid tells us that she is not an intruder and that she will not be touched. She says that they will check back at the guild to see if they have found more council members. When they find out that they have, the mermaid tells them that they are up against enemies, who can do things like this to a town. He says that he can count on the fairy tail to win just like always. He tells the mermaid that the price of the blunder is 1,000 souls and that he will pay for it. He also tells her that he is the one who melted the ice on the village of sun. She thanks him and says that she would feel guilty if it were to stay like that forever. She tells him that she smells like someone she knows.
