In this chapter, we learn that the ruler of the universe has a set of scales that are 3000 times the size of the human body. In other words, the universe is divided into three dimensions. The three dimensions are the heavens, the earth, and the sky. The first dimension is the heavens and the second dimension is earth. The third dimension is heaven and the fourth dimension is fire. The heavenly essence is still imperfect, so it will be a long time before the three dimensions can be combined into one unified universe. This is because the heavenly essence has been broken down into three parts: the heavenly body, the heavenly soul, and heaven itself. It is impossible for the third dimension to be combined with the first three because the three parts of heaven are so different from one another. The only thing that can be done is to find a way to combine these three parts into a single unified universe, and this is what the alchemist is going to do.
