In this chapter, we learn that the unnamed scimitar wields a weapon that can summon a yaksa, or devil-like creature, from the netherworld. The nameless scimitar is trying to use the opportunity to destroy the walls of the city, but the city walls are already being destroyed. The city's king is also being destroyed, and he threatens to make the city his bride if the city surrenders. If the city does not surrender, he says, he will kill the king and his family.
