In this chapter, Feier explains that he can fight in the Tower of Sins arena. He explains that the tower is like a battle ground, compressing all of the major races into one place. He compares the tower to a living thing: if a body is not attended to for long enough, it will get absorbed by the Tower. He calls it the "light of creation" and explains that when you defeat an opponent in the tower arena, you will get a certain amount of this light back. Feier compares this light to the light in a dragon's body, but notes that this light is still refining. He wonders when a human warrior got into the tower, and wonders if he has the balls to kill the demon.
