The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Caius recounts the events of that chapter. Caius explains that he and the other demons have lost many of their warriors in an instant. He has found a way to cover up his weakness, and he is confident that he will be able to defeat the enemy. He is shocked to learn that the commander of the army has also been killed by the brat. He exclaims that he has driven the demons out of the city and that they should leave him alone. The chapter ends with Caius explaining that the only reason he came to the city was to find the Tower of Sins. Now that he can move freely, he plans to use the bone to teach the red dragon an unparalleled skill.
