In this chapter, the "sword spirit" is introduced for the first time. It is a beautiful woman who has taken the form of a sword spirit. She is described as being "more beautiful than humans" . The "malefic aura" of the sword spirit is described by the narrator as a "strong malefic aura". The narrator explains that he has already studied the sword techniques of hundreds of years and that he will freeze him into a popsicle if he tries to use such a powerful malefic form. He also explains that thud-killing-sword-mountain has its rules and that the action of placing one's sword so high is considered as cheating. The narrator then goes on to explain that the "beautiful woman" next to him is also a sword-spirit. He explains that it takes at least three to five years for a person to gain a sword. He then explains that the place where he was cleansing his sword was called "killing sword mountain" and that this is where he will chase after the woman.
