The chapter opens with a flashback to the battle of the previous chapter, in which Cai Mingyu and the others defeat the demon. The chapter ends with a soliloquy in which Mingyu tells the audience that he has a grandson who can decipher the meaning of the ancient texts of the god of chaos. He says that if the grandson can understand the true nature of the divine, then the grandson's level of eye will be no lower than that of the "ancient god" and the grandson will be able to win the final battle
