Now that he's healed, the phoenix feels reborn. He wonders if the ancestral phoenix is the same as the new phoenix. He asks the princess if she can remove the barrier between them and let him out. The princess tells him that she's better than him, and that the little monster is strong enough to kill him. The little monster says he'll challenge the princess, but the princess won't let it happen. The two of them argue about whether or not they should fight, and the princess says she doesn't know how to fight in a fight, so they should just cut the chase. The fight is over, and now the phoenix is reborn.
