In this chapter, the pheonix tells Ling that his daughter, Huoyun'er, is also ascending to the higher worlds, but he can't figure out why she's doing so. He also tells his son-in-law that they're going to meet again someday, but that he doesn't know which one he's going to go to. He's afraid that they won't see each other again. Ling says that he'll remember his kind words forever, and that he hopes they'll meet again one day. One month later, Ling has reached the level of limbo, which means that his body is repelled by the world. Normally, he says, once he reaches god sea realm, his body will be repelled by god sea, but now he has no worlds inside him. The emperor of the darkiron kingdom is still handling his affairs like usual. Ling wonders why he is being repelled so quickly. He says that his primordial chaos energy is the cause, and he just completed his training before coming to the dark iron kingdom. He wonders if the repulsive force of the world is getting stronger. Ling tells his father that he has been feeling this repulsive force for three days now.
