In this chapter, we learn that the demons have returned to the Tower of Sins. They want the humans to give up half their seats in the tower so that they can settle the old score with the nocturnals. The nocturnals refuse, but the demons convince them that they have the right to make a concession to the humans. They will kill all the humans who refuse to leave the tower.
