In this short scene, the Emperor of the dayu kingdom, tianming, is talking with the great Shaman, da nie, about rats escaping to the underworld. The great Shaman tells him that the rats were about to enter the underworld, but he couldn't prevent them from doing so. He wonders where the eight newcomers came from, and wonders why they chose the most special tunnel. He says that the Heavenlords are watching them, and that they must have something up their sleeve. He tells the Emperor that they can only spread the pagodas out earlier than planned, but that if they catch the attention of the heaven lords, it will ruin their plan. The Emperor tells the monk that he is now the emperor of the kingdom, and he asks him to stay a bit longer in the kingdom. The monk tells him to introduce the great people around him. The central area is a place of great heritage, he says, and if he doesn't like it, he can leave. He asks amitabha about the talent of ten thousand Buddhas in the central area. Amitabha says that it seemed mysterious to him when he saw it in the battlefield. He also asks if cloud hall can help him to take away achala.
