In this chapter, the three lords discuss how they can help the dragon. First, they discuss the divine cauldron, which they believe is a sacred treasure from the gods. Then they discuss how loneliness inside has changed their temperament, and how the time difference between the outside world and the inside world has made it impossible for them to be with each other in peace. They decide to leave it to the gods to decide what to do with the cauldron, and then they discuss their own choice of the cauldron. They discuss how the needle in their soul is like a seal, and that it has been releasing information to them since they were made lords of the nocturnals. They have learned that they are a race that invaded the day-an universe by the dayan race, and they are tied to take over that universe with their power.
