The old chief explains that in order to gain entrance to the killing-sword-mountain, the sword-bearer must put his hand in the mouth of a spider's mouth. This is the method of identifying "the emotion-questioning sword heart" , and if the old chief destroys this carving, the door will never be opened. The old master explains that this is the "malefic aura" of the mountain, and he steps back first. The door is open, but he is uneasy because he feels that the sword village people are hiding something from him. The first time he came to the mountain was during the battle with hua-tianming, and the second time was when chen-huang-yijian arranged the mountain. The last two times he came, he saw the mountain filled with swords from foot to foot, but this time there is nothing there. He goes to the top of the killing mountain to look for the aura, but there is no one there. There is a tombstone in front of him. He wonders why there is such a thing there, and wonders if it is part of the "way of emotion-less godhood" . The tombstone is the same as the one he saw earlier, but it is in a different location. He realizes that he has been trapped in this place by someone who has laid a trap for him.
