In this chapter, we learn that Heavenlord Absolute Fire intends to destroy both pools of faith, but that he is not going to participate in it. He asks Heavenlord Dark Shadow if he really wants to see the end of the nocturnal race, and if he thinks that the human race is going to meet its doom. He tells him to join forces and kill the little guy below. He says that he will handle Heavenlord Unreal Arrow if they pass, and then he says that they just got lucky, and that they have made their choice. He wants to know why he is stopping him, and he asks if he wants to help them. They have made a choice, he says, and now he asks why they are stopping him. He is amazed at the strength of the young man, and says that if he and he kill Heavenlord Shadow first, they might gain an advantage in the battle. He promises to kill both of them first.
