In this chapter, the narrator explains how the three layers of space work. First, one can move through space and attack with a sword; then one can float through space, and finally one can escape gravity. In other words, the first layer allows one to hop through space; the second layer allows for one to float beyond space; and the third allows a person to hide inside the void. The narrator explains that he can see through the void even when he is hiding in it. He explains that the void is like the back of a mirror, and he can only use his eyes to see through it.
