In this chapter, we learn that the four nocturnals were chosen from among the most talented souls of the underworld. They were the ones who accompanied him into the "Apotheosis of Re-Creation" , and they are now the world's "world lords" . The four of them have been together for "a hundred thousand years" and they have all reached the "divine extremity realm" and are now at the same level as the gods. The king asks the four if they have been in the afterlife for seven hundred years. They answer that they've been there for "seven hundred years." The king tells them that they should be careful during the investigation of the "death of god" because if they work together, they might even have the chance against a "heavenlord" as they're supposed to do. He tells them to be careful because they might get into a fight with a heaven lord if they do so. He says that he's getting "unsettling" because the sky is clanging with the "holy thunder flail," the two "ultimate divine tier of weapons" of the people. He's worried that his "pool of faith" has been sealed. He doesn't know why he can't fight with the other lords, but he'll fight anyway if he can summon the "power of faith."
