In this chapter, we learn that the ancient Shamans have awakened "zhujiuyin" , or "the torch dragon" . The torch dragon is a special variant of the true dragon, and it has the same magical power as the true dragons, but it is also a sacred beast belonging to the ancient clan of the Shamans. The narrator tells us that if the torch dragon appears in the cloud hall, it will destroy everything in it, including the people in it. He tells everyone to get out of the hall and flee with the "nian'er," or servant, to the West.
