In this chapter, we learn that the core of Sin City is hidden by thick fog, and that no one knows where it is or what it contains. We also learn that tian-miao never told him about the inheritance and that he only gave him a jade butterfly. He also never told about the outer zone, the inner zone, or the core, where no one had ever lived or visited to tell the story. He wonders where he should search for it, and where to find it.
