Back at the fort, Caixian asks his sister what's been going on. He's worried that she's going to marry Caixin too soon, and he wants to make sure that Caixin doesn't do him any favors by marrying Caixin. He tells Caixin to go inside and talk to xi xi, who is the daughter of the xi family. She was hidden from Caixin by her kin, because she had the body of star-yin, which Caixin calls "the core of spirit." Caixin explains that xi youqiin is a member of the Xuling sect, which brings Caixin around a lot. He also says that he has a lot of respect for Caixin, because he killed Si miaolin in the tomb. He wants to go back and get what he came for, but he can't find any information about the central area, so he goes back outside. He asks Caixin how he can use the skill of star armor to tame the will of the stars, and Caixin says that since Caixin has been accepted by one, he'll teach him how to use the star armor skill.
