The gang finally gets out of the "hellhole" after months of waiting. They're finally out of there, and they're going to kill Luozheng. They have to hide all their presence when they pass through a mountain pass, because one side of the pass belongs to the "Azure Wolves" and the other side belongs to "the birds" . They need to wear a cloak to protect themselves from the "lasers" , so they won't get harmed by them. They finally see a "moon shadow crabapple" in the distance. It's said to be able to increase one's "energy center," which is why it's so precious. They can't let go of it, because the azure wolves are going to notice them if they pick it up so recklessly, and the monsters will notice them too. The night-walkers are all freaking out, because they'll be put in danger by the wolves if they try to pick up the crabapple. They don't know how to communicate with the monsters using their "innate energy," so they just have to rely on the "mourning spirit" to keep them from using their innate energy. They think that if they get the moon-shadow crabapple, they can hide in the darkness when the monsters show up, and that's all they need to do. They all think that they've been tricked into thinking that the monsters aren't really there. They just need to get back to the Tower of Sins.
