About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from the opening lines of the novel: "return to origin, god slaying! This thunder is extremely powerful" . In other words, it's a thunder strike that's going to destroy the enemy. This thunder strike is going to be so powerful that the enemy will be totally defeated. This is because the enemy is stepping in a pattern, which means that the distance between the two attacks is equal. This means that, even though the enemy has mastered the art of precision fighting, he's still going to have a hard time defeating the enemy because he has so many flaws in his system. The only flaw in the enemy's system is that he has too many lines on his body. He's also got too many fate points, which are basically invisible to the enemy, because they're so small. So, even if the enemy manages to defeat him, it won't really be that hard because he only has four lines on him, which isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. The other problem is that, since the enemy doesn't seem to be coming after him anymore, he has no way of knowing where he is or how to attack him. The problem is, the enemy can't just lock onto the enemy and force him to make moves. He can only move in a straight line, which is why the enemy didn't even swing his spear at the beginning of the chapter.
